This reel boasts a 90-mm handle length and oversize handle knobs, making it a breeze to crank and providing the extra power you need to reel in those tough-to-catch hawg bass. Its magnesium frame, handle side, and side plate keep it both lightweight and rigid, and the special paints and coatings make it saltwater capable.

The Steez CT700 is also equipped with Daiwa’s renowned Hyper Drive design, which uses specially cut gearing to engage more gear teeth simultaneously. A dual-bearing, supported pinion gear ensures everything stays in precise alignment, resulting in smooth operation whether casting, retrieving, or battling big fish.

This reel has two more enhancements that stack the deck in your favor: the T-Wing System and an ultralight G1 Duralumin SV (Stress-Free Versatile) long-cast spool. Daiwa’s pioneering T-Wing System improves casting distance and accuracy by utilizing separate aperture settings for casting and retrieving. The SV spool baitcasting technology automatically adjusts spool tension at the beginning and end of each cast, ensuring optimal casting distance and eliminating overruns when throwing lightweight and standard-weight lures.

HYPER ARMED HOUSING Mg

The housing system firmly supports the internal structure with high rigidity and precision to produce exquisite winding comfort and power. The use of metal materials for the frame, which is the key component of the system, is a prerequisite, and in combination with side plates and set plates, enables the basic performance to continue to be demonstrated for an even longer period of time.
Magnesium alloy is used for the frame and gear side plates, and aluminum alloy for the dial side set plate. The full metal housing specification achieves weight reduction and strength.

HYPER DOUBLE SUPPORT

A drive support system that achieves sustained smoothness and strong, light winding. By supporting both ends of the pinion gear with two ball bearings with high precision, the input from the handle is not damped, enabling strong and light winding even when a load is applied.
