The first thing you'll notice is its strength, speed, and versatility. This is a serious cost-performance model that aims for "Power Basic". Shimano has taken on the challenge of creating a cost-performance model that aims for the electric reel's "Power Basic”.

While inheriting the concept of the previous model, which introduced a low-profile compact body and a thumb rest clutch & quick return clutch that significantly improves one-handed operability, it is equipped with a MUTEKI MOTOR that achieves a Shimano winding force of 49 kg to ensure power and speed that are suitable for "Power Basic" specifications.

In addition, we have equipped it with a new carbon cross washer to provide smooth and powerful drag force. Furthermore, we have added new functions such as a shelf memo that can memorize the water depth of the shelf or bottom. You can switch the display method of the memo water depth, such as from the top or bottom mode. As the latest function, we have equipped it with a "Choi Stop" that can stop the electric winding while pressing the button.

MUTEKI MOTOR

A high-speed, high-torque brush motor that uses a powerful neodymium magnet.

SA-RB

SA-RB bearings are put through the same process as Shimano's A-RB bearings but feature shields on both sides of the bearings. These shields reduce the possibility of salt or sand inhibiting the rotation of the bearing.

RAKURAKU MODE/FIXED SPEED MODE

Raku Raku Mode: Winding with constant tension to match the load on the reel.
It is effective when anglers use thin line, targeting fish with soft mouths or eat upward. Fixed Speed Mode: Maintains and winds a constant speed regardless of the magnitude of the load applied to the reel. It is effective when anglers want to increase the winding power.
