The following is the product introduction of Shimano's strongest and largest electric reel ever, the true Beast Master that conquers even super big and deep sea fish. It is designed to reel up powerfully by multipoint hooking in full-scale deep water, catch large fish such as yellowfin tuna and kuei with overwhelming speed, and not break.

The Beast Master MD12000 is equipped with a power train named Monster Drive (MD), which has a heart of a new development called NEW GIGA-MAX MOTOR that significantly improves performance. It achieves 2.5 times the motor torque (*1) and practical winding endurance of 38 kg. The drive power that combines overwhelming speed and power is supported by a reinforced gear system that incorporates Shimano's superior durability and attention to detail.

Furthermore, the drag force, which is the decisive factor in a fight with an ultra-large fish, reaches an astonishing 43 kg, making it Shimano's most powerful ever for reeling in huge fish with unparalleled power. The HAGANE body, a highly rigid metal body, houses this astonishing power. The body is protected from heat generated by the drag section by means of a heat dissipation system, enabling the angler to fight for long periods of time. The 80/92 mm long handle makes it easy to reel in the fish when fishing near the boat's edge.

An undersea information screen displays undersea information in real time in color, essential for catching the moment when you encounter a big fish. The Beast Master MD12000 marks a new chapter in big game and deep sea fishing with its unprecedented power and speed.

GIGA MAX MOTOR

The GigaMax Motor utilizes a brushless design to provide high torque and high speed while maximizing durability.

THERMO ADJUST DRAG

Thermo Adjust Drag is a control function designed to suppress abnormal heat generation of the drag to maintain stable drag performance. If the drag slips while the motor of the electric reel is on, the gear will idle and cause an abnormal heat generation in the drag portion of the reel. As a way to suppress excess heat, the speed of the motor is automatically reduced by the Thermo Adjust Drag when the drag begins to slip.

e-EXCITING DRAG SOUND

The e-Exciting Drag Sound is an electronic drag sound from the reel when a fish makes a run. This creates a modern solution to the mechanical clicker while adding excitement to an angler's experience.

SA-RB

SA-RB bearings are put through the same process as Shimano's A-RB bearings but feature shields on both sides of the bearings. These shields reduce the possibility of salt or sand inhibiting the rotation of the bearing.
