Equipped with the larger diameter Magnum Light Spool Ⅲ, size 150, which enhances compatibility with the centrifugal brake, and is narrower than the previous model (ø35/19mm).

The line guide has been moved forward to achieve an elongated casting feel reminiscent of the 19 Antares.

The highly rigid core solid body features the first-ever Infinity Drive built into a low-profile bait, greatly reducing rotational resistance for powerful and direct reeling, and improving the angler's ability to detect changes in the bottom and water resistance to the lure. INFINITY DRIVE

The Infinity Drive structure is a more advanced version of the conventional X-SHIP structure that created exceptionally light winding. The main shaft, which had previously been supported by the pinion gear, is now supported by a new and unique low-friction bushing that significantly decreases frictional resistance. In addition, the main shaft has undergone a proprietary surface treatment and special processing to drastically reduce rotational torque, constructing a reel that can actively wind even under heavy loads.

CORESOLID BODY

CoreSolid Body integrates the B-Side Plate, levelwind guard and frame into a solid one-piece construction. This delivers an unprecedented feeling of rigidity and sensitivity, and is the first design of this type in a low-profile baitcast reel..

MICRO MODULE GEAR

State-of-the-art, gear tooth surface design and MicroModule Gear II, are further advanced through Shimano's exclusive manufacturing technology. The surfaces of the drive gear and pinion gear have been analyzed and updated from the ground up in pursuit of perfection. Further improving smooth gear feeling and reducing sound.

HAGANE BODY

The HAGANE Body is a metal reel body with high rigidity. The body rigidity and impact resistance virtually eliminates body flexing. The result transforms the angler's actions directly into cranking power. It's efficiency through strength.

MGL SPOOL 3

The MGL III Spool is an ultra-thin spool that thoroughly pursues low inertia. The spool has a reduction in inertia by about 15% compared to the second-generation MGL Spool by using a narrow shape with a width of 19 mm for the outer diameter of 34 mm. Resulting in unparalleled casting performance.
