With advanced lens elements, the Tamron 50-400mm F4.5-6.3 provides uncompromising image quality throughout the entire zoom range, despite its compact size of just 183.4mm (7.2 in) and light weight of 1,155g (40.7 oz). The VXD linear motor focus mechanism and VC image stabilization system work together to capture sharp images even when shooting fast-moving sports action and wild birds. Additionally, the lens offers half-macro photography with a minimum object distance of just 0.25m (9.8 in) at the 50mm end and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2.
