The OCEA JIGGER has met the elements required for a jigging reel at a high level, and a new strategy of speed has been added. The range is 7 stages from gear ratio 5.1 and maximum winding length 78cm (1500PG) to gear ratio 7.0 and maximum winding length 132cm (2000NRXG). By fusing winding speed and jerk pattern, jigging is led to further heights. Of course, the advanced technologies that JIGGER boasts, such as X-Protect’s watertightness and high-performance drag, are fully equipped. It supports a wide range of games from nearshore to deep sea.

MICRO MODULE GEAR

State-of-the-art, gear tooth surface design and MicroModule Gear II, are further advanced through Shimano's exclusive manufacturing technology. The surfaces of the drive gear and pinion gear have been analyzed and updated from the ground up in pursuit of perfection. Further improving smooth gear feeling and reducing sound.

HAGANE BODY

The HAGANE Body is a metal reel body with high rigidity. The body rigidity and impact resistance virtually eliminates body flexing. The result transforms the angler's actions directly into cranking power. It's efficiency through strength.

INFINITY DRIVE

The Infinity Drive structure is a more advanced version of the conventional X-SHIP structure that created exceptionally light winding. The main shaft, which had previously been supported by the pinion gear, is now supported by a new and unique low-friction bushing that significantly decreases frictional resistance. In addition, the main shaft has undergone a proprietary surface treatment and special processing to drastically reduce rotational torque, constructing a reel that can actively wind even under heavy loads.

X PROTECT

By combining our water repellent coating and our specially designed, water channeling, labyrinth construction, X-Protect provides high-level water resistance without sacrificing light gear and rotor rotation.

S COMPACT BODY

S-Compact Body allows for all-day comfort and improved fishability by making the palming side plate up to 25% smaller than A side plate.
