The strongest electric jigging model in Shimano's history that comes with a concept of catching fish that can only be caught by electric jigging.

It is designed to provide a sensation similar to hand-winding jigging. The long-awaited 3000-class model has been introduced, which is compatible with electric jigging. It is equipped with a new EJ mode (Advance mode) that can control the strength of jerk. It has achieved a one-pitch jerk that is closer to the sensation of hand-winding jigging. It also features a one-pitch distance display that shows the distance reeled up with one jerk and a color fish finder display function newly adopted in the "TANKEN-MARU SCREEN". It enables electric jigging at a higher level than ever before.

It has a tough and speedy performance that lives up to the name of EJ, with a durability twice that of the previous model's gear system and a maximum winding speed of about 15% faster※1, thanks to the GIGA-MAX MOTOR. It is a reliable machine not only for powerful electric jigging that targets large fish such as yellowtail and albacore but also for dropping and squid jigging.

EJ MODE

Special modes for jigging by electric reel.
-Manual Jerk Mode
Motor wind up the line while pressing the button. The winding speed can be changed anytime when anglers control the reel even during jig falling. By this mode, angler can easily control jig manually.
-Auto Jerk Mode
When pressing button, the motor will run at preset speeds, uptime, and uptime intervals. The jig moves according to the preset program. Wind up speed, wind up time and stopping time are adjutable by anglers.
- Advance Mode
This is the mode which enables anglers to adjust the acceleration to move the jig. Wind up speed, wind up time, and acceration of winding up are adjutable. It helps reproducing high level one-pitch jerk by hand with electric reel jiging.

GIGA MAX MOTOR

The GigaMax Motor utilizes a brushless design to provide high torque and high speed while maximizing durability.

FIRE MACH SYSTEM

Substantial improvement in spool-free performance is achieved by placing bearings in appropriate locations.

THERMO ADJUST DRAG

Thermo Adjust Drag is a control function designed to suppress abnormal heat generation of the drag to maintain stable drag performance. If the drag slips while the motor of the electric reel is on, the gear will idle and cause an abnormal heat generation in the drag portion of the reel. As a way to suppress excess heat, the speed of the motor is automatically reduced by the Thermo Adjust Drag when the drag begins to slip.

e-EXCITING DRAG SOUND

The e-Exciting Drag Sound is an electronic drag sound from the reel when a fish makes a run. This creates a modern solution to the mechanical clicker while adding excitement to an angler's experience.
