Uncompromising high specs. The NEW Larissa lever brake reel goes beyond the limits of entry-level machines with its high specs.

As a result of seeking high rigidity and durability, we have adopted HAGANE gears and HAGANE body. In addition, the smooth line release required for lever brake reels during reverse rotation is achieved by incorporating a Magnum Light Rotor. It is truly a high-spec machine without compromise, with X-Protect adopted for waterproof performance in the line roller section.

It also features a Zero-F tension lever that applies light brakes to reverse rotation and reduces line trouble caused by rotor reversal.

HAGANE GEAR

A block of metal is pressed under high pressure and finished to micron-level precision without cutting. This unique technology, known as precision cold forging, produces gears that are hard, tenacious, and smooth to wind.

X SHIP

X-Ship provides improved gear durability. By supporting the pinion gear on both ends with bearings, the pinion gear maintains precise alignment with the drive gear. This means the gears will stay in the same position under the heaviest loads. The added benefit is that friction between the spool shaft and gear are eliminated. This will enhance the casting performance of the reel with lighter lures, and allow for longer casts.

HAGANE BODY

The HAGANE Body is a metal reel body with high rigidity. The body rigidity and impact resistance virtually eliminates body flexing. The result transforms the angler's actions directly into cranking power. It's efficiency through strength.

MAGNUM LITE ROTOR

Lightweight rotor made of CI4+ material. The thickness of the rotor has been successfully reduced while maintaining sufficient rigidity. The lightweight rotor reduces the blurring and unevenness caused by rotational inertia. It also realizes a quick start-up with little force. Also, sensitivity is increased and total weight is reduced.

X PROTECT

By combining our water repellent coating and our specially designed, water channeling, labyrinth construction, X-Protect provides high-level water resistance without sacrificing light gear and rotor rotation.
