Retaining its status as the “pinnacle” of Shimano’s lever drag (LB) reels, it comes equipped with powerful features like the SUT Brake II, a highly rigid and durable HAGANE body and gears, and the MGL Rotor. Additionally, it now includes a High-Response Drag Spool as standard.

The drag system offers smooth startup, providing even greater performance when using fine lines or PE lines. It also protects the line from sudden, powerful strikes, ensuring safe and secure fishing even in intense situations.

Available exclusively in the C3000 size, this model offers both XG and XXG gear ratios with options for both left- and right-hand retrieve, making it easy to choose the perfect setup.

HAGANE GEAR

A block of metal is pressed under high pressure and finished to micron-level precision without cutting. This unique technology, known as precision cold forging, produces gears that are hard, tenacious, and smooth to wind.

X SHIP

X-Ship provides improved gear durability. By supporting the pinion gear on both ends with bearings, the pinion gear maintains precise alignment with the drive gear. This means the gears will stay in the same position under the heaviest loads. The added benefit is that friction between the spool shaft and gear are eliminated. This will enhance the casting performance of the reel with lighter lures, and allow for longer casts.

HAGANE BODY

The HAGANE Body is a metal reel body with high rigidity. The body rigidity and impact resistance virtually eliminates body flexing. The result transforms the angler's actions directly into cranking power. It's efficiency through strength.

SILENT DRIVE

From the fundamental, whole body design to the most intricate parts of the drive train, including the drive gear, wormshaft, wormshaft pin and wormshaft gear, every piece has been carefully reviewed, and the smallest clearance gaps and wobbles have been eliminated to the highest tolerances.

SUT BRAKE 2

The innovative SUT brake mechanism, which prevents the handle from rotating backwards when releasing the line, has evolved. In pursuit of even better performance, SUT Brake II, with improved handle behavior, achieves extremely smooth line release. This enables anglers to instantly regain their position when interacting with large fish.
