With the innovative “REMOTE JOG” technology, operating a large electric reel with one hand is now as easy as using a small electric reel.

Not only can you now reel in from a distance, but you can also check the depth remotely, transforming deep-sea fishing and big game fishing into a more comfortable experience. Traditionally, electric reels required direct operation on the reel itself. However, with the introduction of REMOTE JOG, you can now start, stop, and adjust the speed without directly touching the reel, and all from a distance.

REMOTE JOG incorporates Daiwa’s “JOG Power Lever” technology, allowing one-handed operation as if you were handling a small-sized reel.

But REMOTE JOG offers more than just remote operation. The LCD screen on REMOTE JOG is linked to the electric reel, constantly displaying the depth. It functions like a portable small electric reel. You never know when you’ll get a bite. With large electric reels typically used in set rod fishing, you’ll often miss a beat when you’re away from the reel. However, with REMOTE JOG, you can instantly perform actions like reeling in and setting the hook.

Moreover, it’s extremely convenient to monitor the depth at hand. For example, in deep-sea fishing where the captain’s instructed depth can be hundreds of meters, retrieving the gear or landing a fish takes significant time. Previously, you had to frequently check the reel’s LCD screen during retrieval, but with REMOTE JOG, you can always check the depth at hand without worrying about the boat’s motion or sunlight glare on the screen.
