As the core model of the Magnumlite series, designed to pursue lightness and smooth reeling response, the Vanford excels across a wide range of techniques, including technical and finesse styles.

The new model inherits the lightweight operability, sensitivity, and smooth winding feel of its predecessor, while also featuring Infinity Cross and Infinity Drive technologies. These innovations provide enhanced powerful winding and improved gear durability.

The use of DuraCross, which boasts excellent abrasion resistance, increases drag durability approximately tenfold compared to previous models by Shimano standards.
Additionally, the newly equipped Anti-Twist Fin minimizes line troubles, further enhancing ease of use.

The 13 models, including the newly introduced C2500SXG, cover a range of applications from area trout and bass fishing to eging, seabass, and shore jigging. This lineup is perfect for the new era of lure fishing.

INFINITY XROSS

InfinityXross provides superior gear durability through industry-leading design and cutting-edge manufacturing technology. Advancements in the gear tooth design improve the surface contact and meshing between the drive gear and pinion gear. This revolutionary design efficiently distributes the load placed on the gear tooth surface across a wider area to prevent damage from stress points while significantly improving overall gear durability.

ONE PIECE BAIL

One-Piece Bail allows the line to travel unimpeded to the line roller. Its seamless design reduces friction and the change of tangles or cuts to the bail arm.

INFINITY DRIVE

The Infinity Drive structure is a more advanced version of the conventional X-SHIP structure that created exceptionally light winding. The main shaft, which had previously been supported by the pinion gear, is now supported by a new and unique low-friction bushing that significantly decreases frictional resistance. In addition, the main shaft has undergone a proprietary surface treatment and special processing to drastically reduce rotational torque, constructing a reel that can actively wind even under heavy loads.
