ALUMINUM ALLOY HOUSING

By using aluminum alloy for the frame, side plates, and set plate housing, the set plate is made of aluminum to provide light weight and high rigidity to suppress shaking and distortion. It also directly improves rotational and hoisting performance.

G1 DURALMIN SPOOL

G1 Duralumin is a special aluminum-based alloy that is twice as strong as magnesium and 1.3 times as strong as super-duralumin. This ultra-lightweight material maintains excellent rigidity, and is the highest grade of lightweight alloys used in aircraft structural materials and precision instruments. In order to achieve an overwhelmingly lightweight feel while maintaining the same strength, the spool's winding surface has been thinned without blanking to maintain its full strength. The high rotational response brought about by the lightness and the unparalleled accurate rotation due to the high rigidity are unrivaled.

AIR BRAKE SYSTEM

This spool braking system radically improves winding performance and casting accuracy while minising the risk of spool tangles. The spool has had its weight minimised to optimise the magnetic braking system and to allow accurate pitching as well as heavier duty casts to long distance.

TWS

The TWS T-Wing System solves an age old problem with level wind systems. The normal change of angle of from spool to line guide retards line release and slows the casting momentum of the lure. With TWS, when engaged for casting, the line guide drops to expose the "T" aperture of T-Wing. This allows line to flow freely through the wide top section on outcast, reducing the normally sharp angles and resulting friction that slow line flowing through a standard narrow aperture. For retrieve, the line guide, now in the original position, controls the line drops via the narrow, lower channel of the T-Wing. This delivers even distribution across the spool width.
